Age: 31

Name: Dororo
Canon: Keroro Gunso
Canon Point: given the series have roughly zero continuity being a children's show.
Canon reference: http://keroro.wikia.com/wiki/Dororo
Details: The first impression is he is unerringly polite – in Japanese he uses the highly formal first-person pronoun “Sessha” exclusively, and unless he’s both familiar with and upset at the person, he tends to use their full names including title to speak to them.
The Lance Corporal is a pacifist in a technical sense – he is quite willing to fight to defend others, but he swore to never take a life again, and will even go out of his way to engage in non-violent means of resolving conflict – making him an anomaly among the highly militaristic Keronians.
Dororo is extremely loyal to those that shown him kindness, to the point of putting up with abuse repeatedly, and is quite patient with people around him. He still considers the rest of the platoon to be his dear friends despite being forgotten and their ideological differences in how to take over the Earth. He very rarely loses his temper, but it is considered to be an extremely terrifying event when it does happen. Despite all the bad things that had happened to him, he is quick to forgive if the person who wrongs him apologizes or make other shows of good faith (and thus he can be easily tricked in this manner).
Despite growing up in luxury, Dororo strongly prefers a simple, hard-working life, as he chose to live in a simple, one-room hut out in the forest over staying with the others in their ridiculously high-class secret base. His hobbies reflect this nature, as he often is shown tending to his organic garden, arranging flowers, practicing calligraphy, or training with Koyuki to keep his skills sharp. His desire for self-improvement and discipline also means he askew the use of technological weapons or similar enhancements, but he does not hold it against others if they use those things.
While he’s generally quite serious and has generally low-key hobbies, he does have a bit of a playful and hot-blooded side to him. He is massively stubborn and very rarely changes his mind once it’s set – and usually only if he realized he hurt someone’s feelings because of his obstinate nature. If he has something that he simply adores and someone expresses dislike towards it – he will vigorously defend its honor to an almost absurd degree, becoming quite fired up and pushy about the subject until someone knocks some sense into him and make him chill out.
The Trauma Switch is something of a running gag for the series – due to Keroro’s utterly horrid treatment of him, and his time as an Assassin, Dororo has a lot of emotional baggage under his generally placid demeanor. If forced to be reminded of either of these things, the Trigger’s pulled in his mind and he goes catatonic – curling up in a ball and either staying quiet or murmur about the memory that caused the reaction to himself. He is fully aware that he does this and it’s shown that the Trauma Switch is his greatest fear – he doesn’t like how much he’s affected by his bad memories. Things that had triggered the trauma switch: Sports Day, game and watch systems, Keroro eating his Tempura, Music Boxes, Pachinko Machines, People getting his name wrong, the image of his trauma switch, and most commonly people forgetting that he exists – this is something to keep in mind for anyone who gets the Trauma Switch Regain
Memory Loss Level: Minimum
Allow Painful Regains? Yes
Regains:
Perfect Shadow Clones (Ability)
Like any good Ninja, the user has the ability to create up to six duplicates of himself to harass and confuse his enemies. Unlike most practitioners of the technique, the clones are so well-made that they cast shadows just like the real Ninja. If a clone is struck, that specific clone vanishes, if the real person is hit, all the clones vanish.
Trauma Switch (Memory/Ability)
A scaring childhood lead to the creation of this switch – even the most trivial of childhood misfortune will cause the victim to curl up into a ball, crying over how a green alien frog did them completely wrong.
Invisibility Barrier (Item)
A small device that can be attached to one's clothes, rendering one invisible, but objects they carry after cloaking can be seen.
Keron Training Simulation (Memory)
One of your friends took his brother's Keron Ball – a device for officers of the army, then your other friend trigger a training field that resembled a giant pinball machine. Unfortunately, you failed the training and suffer the trauma of being squished into a pinball – thankfully it was only temporary.
The Assassin Zeroro (Memory)
This is your real name, you used to be one of the top assassins in the army – you prefer not to think about those days.
Ninja Costume (Item)
You're already a Ninja, but this is a better costume for sneaking around – a loose-fitting navy ninja suit with black headgear with a red spike in front, a red scarf, and a navy mask with a small filter. It reminds you of a ninja from a popular video game series, but you're drawing a blank on it.
Sky Pilot Outfit (item)
An outfit for traversing the skies – a teal, wool-trimmed mechanic's jumpsuit with several deep pockets on the legs for tools, a matching pilot's cap with white wings, and wool-lined gloves with a light blue scarf.
Pink Sentai Costume (item)
A pink costume with a feminine touch, consisting of a pink jump suit with skirt, a matching helmet with a tinted visor that covers the upper half of the face, and a yellow scarf for flair. It grants no powers, it's just a costume.
Natto (item)
A box of fermented soybeans, there is an extreme love for it, or distaste, there is no in-between. It stinks.
Demonic Arts (Ability)
When activated, the user is encased in a dark blue armor with two pointed horns, and two ninja stars – one on the forehead and one on the belly, when in use – the wearer automatically gains a katana, can create clones regardless of ability, and manipulate the earth to create two crushing hands, and the armor can repel ordinary attacks.

Trivia and Random Keronian facts
Jul. 8th, 2014 08:27 pmAge: They are much older then one would think, as Keronians have a much longer lifespan.
Favorite Food: Natto, Starfruit (All Keronians love Starfruit as it has many Keronian-required nutrients and the shape is oddly nostalgic for them)
On Honorifics: After some thought, I decided to use Sir/Madam for non-nobles, and Lord/Lady for nobles of Union. If a character has a military title, he will use that instead. If he has to start a sentence with 'I' or 'My', he will start with "This one" or "This humble one" (depending on formality) before switching to normal first-person pronouns. This of course isn't natural, it's an affected way of speaking, he's far more casual when he feels relaxed (which is rare).
If he befriends someone, he'll strictly use their surnames if they have any. First and Nicknames are reserved for childhood friends.

Jun. 4th, 2014 08:26 amHug this guy? Sure thing! He kind of needs one.
Pick him up and carry him around? As Dororo's only about two feet tall max, he's actually very easy to carry and he'll often be too startled to resist.
Kiss this guy Why not - but he's not going to turn into a prince.
Trigger Dororo's Trauma Switch Go ahead - just give me a heads up that is what you're doing, but if it happens too often, I might put a temporary halt on this.
"Forgetting Dororo" Go ahead - just don't do it during more serious plots, but as above - I might ask people to stop if it happens too much.
Hit this guy Feel free to try. He's pretty good at dodging if he's on the ball.
Experiment on this guy? He's an unfortunate victim of many experiments in canon, so just let me know what you plan on doing and I'll usually agree to it unless I got prior plans.
Kill this guy Please ask first
Mind Reading Please ask first.
Mind Control Please ask first.
Invisibility Barrier it works on purely on a visible level - so other means of detecting people - scents, heat signatures, spirit-sensing will work for detecting Dororo when he's cloaked.
Can I unmask him? The Mask stays on. End of story. Your characters are welcome to try to remove it or make him take it off, it's just not going to succeed.

Characters you have in the game: Soma Cruz, Kuja
Character Name: Lance Corporal Dororo
Character Canon: Keroro Gunso (Anime Series 1)
Canon Background: Dororo’s original name is Zeroro and he was the oldest son of the chief medical officer of Keron and thus grew up in a very wealthy environment. However due to his “Weak presence” (being easily forgotten) and frequent illness (it’s unclear whether he was genuinely that ill or his mother is a hypochondriac), he had no friends until he met Keroro and Giroro, and the three soon stuck together for the rest of their childhood.
Sadly, Keroro is an absolutely horrible friend. Young Zeroro’s desperation for friends allows him to be easily manipulated, so he can be pressured into doing anything Keroro wants. And considering Keroro’s careless, short-sighted nature, this caused a lot of suffering. Giroro tried to protect Zeroro from the worst of things, but it’s not enough. Among other things, Zeroro ended up feuding with his little brother – wrongly blaming him for breaking a music box (which Keroro broke and didn’t confess until decades later) and getting hit with punishments because he ends up being the one getting caught after some mischief of Keroro’s goes wrong.
He has a lot of suppressed resentment over this, and with some suggestions from his friends about his potential to use "Completely awesome Assassination Magic", he became an Assassin for the Keron Army, and part of the notorious X1 unit – known for absolutely brutal training and a reputation for utter ruthlessness. Eventually the X1 unit was disbanded relating to how their CO becoming a criminal (details are sparse) and Dororo was assigned to Sergeant Keroro’s platoon along with Corporal Giroro – reuniting with his friends briefly before they went to earth and got separated soon after arriving.
He unfortunately was caught in a bear trap while scouting and thought he was going to die alone until a ninja girl named Koyuki found him. Instead of finishing him off like he expected, the girl freed him and nursed him back to health. Touched by the genuine kindness and falling for the beauty of “Pekopon”, he gave up being an assassin and renamed himself Dororo, deciding he wants to protect the world instead of invading it.
Dororo told Koyuki about how Pekopon was high on several aliens’ list of worlds to invade and the two started hunting down aliens and exposing them – drawing the attention of the Keroro Platoon (who otherwise had completely forgotten about Dororo). He initially rejected their offer to rejoin, angry when he realized they didn’t even look for him, but after they rushed out to save him from an enemy of the Keronians and Keroro finally confessing to breaking the music box, he rejoined on the condition that he will only help them with “peaceful” invasion plans.
Omegafriends Background: Very little would change, save for toning down how ridiculously cruel his friends were to him as a kid.
Though the biggest difference in order to make him better suited as a solo app is that he wasn’t assigned to platoon, but was sent to Pekopon on a solo scouting mission. He first landed in Japan, where he picked up most of his mannerisms, then went to America – deeming it to be a better invasion target when he was caught in a trap and rescued by an unknown person. After recovering, he decided to quit being an assassin and try to protect the kind people of the planet.
However, Dororo continues to send reports about Pekopon’s readiness for an invasion platoon, but fudges the details to try to delay it as long as possible, as he realizes that if he simply stop reporting they’ll assume he has been KIA and will send another scout.
Personality: Dororo is humble, exceedingly polite and a well-meaning person. The Lance Corporal is a pacifist in a technical sense – he is quite willing to fight to defend others, but he swore to never take a life again, and will even go out of his way to engage in non-violent means of resolving conflict – making him an anomaly among the highly militaristic Keronians.

If he has something that he simply adores and someone expresses dislike towards it – he will vigorously defend its honor to an almost absurd degree, becoming quite fired up and pushy about the subject until someone knocks some sense into him and make him chill out.
He’s also known for making terrible puns and seems to relish in unleashing them on the unsuspecting listener. And because he’s generally known as a very serious person, he has on occasion messed around with his friends and gotten away with it completely – Dororo is well aware of their curiosity about what he looks like under the mask and seem to enjoy letting them think they get a chance to see it only to deny them the opportunity by some suspiciously well-timed distractions and loves to startle them by suddenly appearing out of nowhere, usually with some form of Keronian or Ninja training method that while effective is very unpleasant to his more lackadaisical friends.
In Omegaverse, his playful side is much more noticeable as he’s only obligated to report on Pekopon, so much of the pressure to be loyal to the Invasion is lifted off his shoulders. He’s much more likely to be telling jokes if he feels it’s appropriate to the mood and will even play minor, harmless pranks on people he is very close friends to. While he’ll keep his true mission a secret, he is otherwise much more open and expressive towards other people.
He really, really wants to be a hero - but he can't quite bring himself to cut off all ties with Keron.
Assassin Zeroro is markedly different from Dororo as he is now and who he was a child by his utter callousness when he is on duty. He drops all formalities, addressing people plainly and without emotion in his voice. He’s willing to ditch is comrades if he thinks they’ll get in the way of the mission, and has no qualms about harming a child. He’s still very affected by the trigger of his Trauma Switch, as he pretty much had to suppress his naturally pacifistic nature in order to do his missions.
Powers: Keronians have a string of unusual traits that differs that makes them quite different from humans. For example they’re shown to be able to take an extremely absurd level of damage - for example Giroro’s introduction has him shoving a live grenade into Keroro’s mouth – to little effect, though strangely if they’re shocked or set on fire they grow afros. Not even the Keronians know why it happens.
They also have many weaknesses related to their frog-like nature. While they can consume food items with salt with little trouble, if it touches their skin it burns quite badly and too much salt exposure is needless to say extremely unhealthy for the Ninja. Secondly, Dororo’s home planet is extremely humid compare to earth, and thus he can get dehydrated much quicker than a human, and will be out of commission during extremely hot, dry spells – conversely too much humidity basically renders Keronians drunk. Thirdly, if temperatures drop too low (well below freezing - at least -10 F), Keronians will fall asleep and essentially hibernate until forcibly waken up or the temperatures gets warmer.
While Dororo in general disdains the use of machines and tools – he does make use of one item if he wants to go through the city undetected. The tool is a cloaking device that is hidden inside his cap that renders the user invisible, but people can see any objects they pick up afterwards or see them manipulate objects. He does not use it in combat as he feels it is cheating and it’s actually very impractical on that front as they can still see his weapons.
Dororo is extremely agile and quick, befitting of someone who went from being an Assassin to a Ninja. He is shown to use hand to hand combat, shurikens and a wakazashi during fights.
He possesses a set of skills collectively known as Assassination Magic by Keronians which includes:
-Dororo Mail Call: If he wants to send a message to anyone, he simply writes it on a piece of paper and throws it, and no matter where they are, the message arrives without fail. How it lands depends on how much he likes the recipient – jerks can end up with the paper sticking in their foreheads corner first.
-Ceiling cling: No specific skill is called for, but he can hang upside down from ceilings or tree branches without support, he seems to do it mostly because he can, though it is useful for ambushes.
-Short-range teleportation: mostly used to move quickly and dodge attacks, it seems to have the maximum range of a few yards. Sometimes he uses smoke bombs when he teleports to further confuse his foes.
-Shadow Clone Techinque: By using this he creates several copies of himself to use as a distraction, however his version is advanced enough that his clones even have shadows, making it even more difficult to tell which one is real. Clones disappear once hit, if Dororo himself is hit, all the copies vanish.
-Creating a giant (Tractor Tire-size) shuriken out of pure energy that he can throw with great accuracy. It's capable of cutting through steel but seems to be non-lethal on living beings, suggesting he can control how much force he puts into it.
One of his big weaknesses is that he has what is referred to as a “Weak Presence”, causing people to forget about him temporarily. It almost never works in his favor - enemies never seem to never forget about the Blue Keronian, and his weak presence is often a trigger for his trauma switch.
As the Assassin Zeroro, he has some tools he used that he gave up when he changed his name. Among them is a wristband with a retractable blade, and a garrote, and wears what seems to be a gas mask.

Notes: “Pekopon” and “Pekoponjin” are Keronian words for Earth and People native to earth respectively.
The Keron Empire is a highly militarized society in the very far outer reaches of space, and while vast and very technologically advanced – it’s so mired in bureaucracy and inter-division conflicts between different factions of the military that it is not going to invade any time soon – not that Dororo knows that. But it is a potential plot hook.
And details are given on Dororo back when he was an assassin just in case something happens in game to cause Zeroro to appear.

One of his big weaknesses is that he has what is referred to as a “Weak Presence”, causing people to forget about him temporarily. It almost never works in his favor - enemies never seem to never forget about the Blue Keronian, and his weak presence is often a trigger for his trauma switch.
